(If you'd like to see what I'm doing in a bit more detail, please join my FaceBook Fan Page.)
Three weeks after finishing college, I caught a one-way Greyhound bus to New York and was soon illustrating for Valiant & ElfQuest Comics, painting book and album covers, and creating interior illustrations for various magazines and entertainment companies.
After 9/11, I left NYC, and relocated to New Orleans…just in time for Hurricane Katrina. Opportunity lives where most fear to tread, so I bought a flooded house in the 9th Ward and put it back together under the direction of my amazing partner, Jay.
In 2009, I completed my illustrated autobiography, "Lightsurfing: Living Life in the Front of My Mouth". It's a tale of making a living with wits and a paintbrush, and all the wild, weird, and wonderful things that happen as a result.
