Love Knot

Ever been in a relationship like this? You're no good for one another; you're absolutely miserable together, but your lives are so intertwined that you can't escape one another. Actually the idea for this piece came from looking at old illuminated manuscripts, looking at all those calm, pious faces, sweet animals, little birds, all wrenched up in Celtic knotwork, legs thrust through torsos, arms weaving through backs, and I wondered "What would this look like if it were three dimensional with real people? Not happy at all, was my guess.
