I have a furnished cottage in my courtyard (called the “Outback“, because that’s where it is). It’s about 400 square feet, with its own Wi-Fi. There’s gated off-street parking, which I rarely use - the neighborhood is pretty safe.

The entire property is fenced, and the shared courtyard is behind two high gates. No one knows it’s back there, unless I tell them it’s back there.

I’m in walking distance of several bars/music venues/restaurants (they’re usually the same thing here), a coffee house is on the corner, and I’m about a seven minute drive from the French Quarter. I bike over there as much as I drive.

In fact, you can rent a bike around the corner.

I’m a full-time artist (which you’ve probably figured out from the drop-down menus), and this is my only residence.

A fabulous, quiet, professional lives next-door, but you’ll likely never see them. I’m also queer-friendly, and vaxxed up - along with rabies, and distemper.

The full-size bed is a super comfy foam mattress, and the kitchen has an induction stove, with a washing machine & rack to dry clothes. A ladder leads up to a little loft area with a futon.

The bathroom is a European styled shower. No, the toilet paper doesn’t live there full time. I should probably take another picture.
